Terms of Service
Effective July 1, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of AthleteIQ (the “Service”), operated by AthleteIQ (“AthleteIQ,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create a club or act as a director/coach. Players must be at least 13 to hold their own account; if a player is under 13, a parent or guardian must set up and supervise the account and agrees to these Terms on the child’s behalf. See our Privacy Policyfor how we handle children’s information (COPPA).
2. The Service
AthleteIQ helps sports organizations manage rosters, schedules, communication, stats, and dues records. AthleteIQ is a record-keeping ledger for dues — we do not process, collect, hold, or transmit any dues payments. Clubs collect dues through their own methods, and AthleteIQ only tracks what is owed and what a family reports paying.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for maintaining the confidentiality of your login, and for all activity under your account. You must have the appropriate rights and, where required, parental consent to add any minor’s information to the Service.
4. Subscriptions & Billing
- Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis through our processor, Stripe, until cancelled.
- You can change or cancel your plan anytime from the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. If a payment fails, we may provide a short grace period before limiting access.
- Prices may change with prior notice.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service unlawfully or to harm, harass, or endanger anyone.
- Upload others’ personal information without the right or consent to do so.
- Attempt to breach security, disrupt the Service, or access data that isn’t yours.
6. Your Content
You retain ownership of the information and content you submit. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display it solely to operate and improve the Service. You represent that you have the rights and any necessary consents (including parental consent for minors) to submit it.
7. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on third parties (including Supabase, Vercel, Stripe, Resend, Twilio, Cloudflare, and Anthropic). Your use may be subject to their terms, and we are not responsible for third-party services.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AthleteIQ will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold AthleteIQ harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or the rights of others.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or its users.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new effective date, and continued use of the Service means you accept the changes.
